To
BladeNET:
Just
a note to let you know that BladeNET has now entered the
golfing sport. This system has reduced my work load by 70
- 80%, thus I get jobs done around the house that normally
I would have to wait until the spring to get done. Now I
have time to them done in the winter months so I now should
be able to golf earlier in the season.
I
convene the ETA hockey league. The league is divided into
two divisions (East & West) and there are 6 teams in each
division. I look after the divisions from Major Novice to
Major Midget. The league plays 1620 league games plus playoffs.
Using BladeNET, I have reduced my time working on games score
and standings by 70 - 80%. It is more work now looking after
suspensions than league standing. The system is so good and
fast to into that you can enter score numerous times each
day. I have had many positive comments from coaches, managers,
parents and OHL and OHA scouts.
If
we can now get other OMHA categories on the system it would
help even more. An example would be if we had the OMHA 'AA'
on and an AP player get a suspension I would be able to check
when the games were played rather than finding and contacting
the convenor for that 'AA' category. Hopefully you can develop
a startup disc and a manual "BladeNET for Dummies" that would
make it easier to get the system up and running for other
groups. I know it would be more money but it would be money
well spent. I think the other leagues would find that they
would need less people required as convenors.
