Reference Letter
Dear Sirs:
I have been involved with the Mississauga Hockey League for over 17
years, most recently as President and now Past President and Scheduler.
I have seen the MHL grow from a paper intensive operation to one with a
fully automated administrative solution.
Bob Fletcher,
the founder of BladeNET Communications Inc., developed applications
for the MHL covering virtually all aspects of hockey
administration. These applications have grown to over 350 and have been
refined over the past 17 years. I can honestly say that every Executive
in the MHL, both at the League level and within our eight member
organizations, fully endorses BladeNET's solutions. We can't imagine
doing our jobs without them.
I have had the opportunity to use the Scheduling, Scores, Standings
and Tournament systems over the past 2 years and, without them, this job
would be a full-time job managing over 400 teams and 7,000 players. The
MHL was excited when Bob indicated the applications were being migrated
to the Internet, which migration was quick and painless.
I can tell you, both as an Executive and as a Scheduler, that Bob and
the BladeNET team are dedicated professionals and skilled technology and
business practitioners. But most importantly, they represent over 100
years combined experience in hockey as coaches, referees and
administrators.
The Mississauga Hockey League is very confident that should the
Canadian Hockey Association choose BladeNET as a service provider, solid
administrative systems will be delivered as defined to facilitate the
operation of its League, Branch, and National bodies.
If you wish to discuss anything with respect to the solutions
provided to the MHL, please do not hesitate to contact me, or for that
matter, any member of our Board.
Yours truly,
Alf Johnston,
