What do I do if I am having
problems with the BladeNET system?

assistance with application issues, functionality errors,

Please note the following in your email:
- where you were when the error occurred
- what you were trying to do
- the screen locations
- the error message received (if applicable)

What do I do if I am having
problems updating scores and schedules?
|
If you are having problems,
contact your association to edit scores and update schedules. |
Why can't I access all of the
AllPlayers Administration System?
|
Access is granted by permission.
Contact your administrator if you require additional access. |
What
should I do if I am having display issues? |
If you are not able to see
the full screen, please change your screen settings. Go to
settings> control panel> display> settings, and
change your screen area to 1028 X 768. |
What
do I do if the online results are wrong? |
Contact your league administrator.
BladeNET is not responsible for the accuracy of the information
entered by any league or administrator. |
What
hardware/software do I need to get started? |
To use the Bladenet Application
it is recommend that you have:
- Software : Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
- Hardware : Pentium 266MHz or higher recommended
- Memory : 64Mb recommended
- Network : 56K modem or High Speed link (DSL or cable)

What
does the term Goal Average refer to?
|
The goal average is the CHA
standard of: (goals for) / (goals for + goals against). It's
used towards the end of the season to resolve ties in the
standings. |
What
does the Publish command do? |
Publishing a schedule makes
it available on the web.
Until a schedule is published, it is visible only in
the AllPlayers Administration System. This allows you
to work on the schedule without users seeing incomplete
data. A second required step is to publish games within a
schedule. Games are not automatically published when
you publish a schedule but rather have to be published
separately. This allows you to publish only those games
that have been fully validated.

When
do I use the Exhibition Flag? |
The exhibition flag is used
to take a game out of the standings but keep it in the schedule.
Games marked "Exhibition" do not affect wins, losses,
goals for, etc. in the standings. |
How
do the Radio Keys work? |
The radio keys perform
the following functions:
- |< - move to first record
- < - move to previous record
- > - move to next record
- >| - move to last record
- + - add a row
- - - delete the current row
- v (checkmark) - save changes to this row
- x - cancel changes to this row
- (disk icon) - save changes permanently to the server

What
does Reset All do? |
Reset All marks all
games in the current filter as unpublished exhibition games,
removing them from the public schedule display and removing
them from the standings.
This is typically used after house league convening
to restart a schedule once all the teams have been assessed
but without removing the games themselves that are kept
for historical purposes. |
What
is the significance of the Venue colour? |
Yellow indicates the venue
is not allocated to a game. White indicated the venue is
allocated to a game. |
